Thank goodness today is the final day of “ saving my money”.
I worked all day today at the mall, but that didn’t stop me from checking out the sales. I had the itch today to go on a shopping spree and I had it bad.
I wanted to buy jeans, some shirts, and cute shoes. Everything I looked at it while in Anchor Blue, PacSun, Macy’s and Payless, looked good enough to buy. There was so much for my eyes to feast upon.
Plus at the Hallmark store where I work at; we got a huge shipment of stuff in. In that shipment came the most adorable journals! It was brown with blue and green polka dots. So cute! But not for $14.95. Even with my employee discount it would come out to like $13.25.
The horrible part was, I couldn’t get anything that I saw today. However, I kind of had an emergency and forgot to pack lunch and eat breakfast so I ended up getting one of those delicious bean rice and cheese burritos and a lemonade.
Oh man that tasted a lot better than PP and J. I realized that the idea of saving your money really isn’t totally impossible. It simply takes discipline, planning and the avoidance of every shopping mall, clothing store, food place and sales rack in existence to man. No problem.
