So, an unexpected problem I'm facing is the crazy heat wave we're currently experiencing is interfering with my planned menu.
When it's 111 no one wants to turn on the oven. Unfortunately, most of the food I bought is frozen and needs to be cooked.
I also tend to eat more fast food when it's hot, so that's proving a difficult temptation to resist as well.
It's really only when I'm out and about that I'm having a problem sticking to the plan. So far I'm not going through withdrawals, however, we'll see if that's still the case on Friday at the LA County Fair.
