No TV: Day Five

Today was a little easier than previous days.

I didn’t work at The Press-Enterprise so I got to miss out on those taunting televisions.

When I got home around 4 p.m. I didn’t even think about watching news like I usually do. I just went straight to the computer and surfed around for a bit.

My niece came over, so I helped her out with some science work. Before I knew it 8 p.m. had come and gone.

“Smallville” was on so I watched a little of it. One big thing that stood out was how I hate commercials. Not watching any for five days was nice, wish I could just give up those forever.

After “Smallville” was over there was nothing else I wanted to watch, so I started to channel surf. Also, I had a realization that doing that is totally worthless. It’s a waste of time and brain power.

I turned the TV off for the rest of the night at 9:07 p.m.
