No Sweets: Day Five

Victory Cupcake !

I bought an orange hostess cupcake to celebrate. I planned on eating it at 8 p.m., on the dot. The week was not as bad as I expected it to be, I saved money, probably curtailed a couple of cavities and lost some calories.

Calories, however was not my main concern for doing the project. The week showed me that, I could abstain from eating sugar.

Momentarily, I even briefly, (read: briefly) considered eliminating a good chunk of sugar from my diet as a whole.

I would be interested in knowing the physiological effects of going from eating a mass amount of sugar, to simply not eating it at all.

What does that do to the body?
