Sun came up today but it wasn’t as warm as it usually is. Or as warm as I wanted it to be really, seeing as how its fall and its not really appropriate to hope for summer temperatures. But I can dream can’t I?
After all this is California.
The sun did feel particularly comforting though today, at least of all the days so far this week, and thankfully the weeks half over. I got up, took a shower, threw on one of my boyfriend’s old white T-shirts, grabbed a beanie and ran out the door.
Much simpler than the other days where I’ve usually woken up groggy, and sluggish. I didn’t stare at myself in the mirror for 15 mins and think, “God, what am I going to do with this today..”

I liked this today. This is good.
I’ve decided college, isn’t high school, to an extent.
I mean here at RCC we still have our groups scattered around here and there, but the difference there is from high school is that nobody cares. And I like it that way, no on has to be the prettiest, no one has to be the smartest.
But, you know if you hold yourself to those standards it could work out for you, or cause you unnecessary stresses.
I’ve decided to go with the unnecessary stresses road, it saves me more time in the morning.
