No Internet: Day One

While my family thinks that giving up the internet is not a big enough sacrifice, trust me it’s huge. So much of my daily life is spent online. It’s true that it’s not all super important, but some of it is.

A lot of my favorite TV shows are British, so I watch most of them online. Sunday the latest Doctor Who aired in England, which meant someone would upload it to YouTube by the afternoon, however, that was not happening and with my internet time slowly dwindling down I wondered if I would be forced to wait until next weekend to enjoy the Doctor. Fortunately I found it in the nick of time late Sunday night.

Besides watching “Doctor Who” my final hours of internet were spent watching this week’s edition of “The X Factor,” catching up on my favorite new soap couple, Kyle and Fish from “One Life to Live” and watching several hilarious Kevin Smith clips while researching a speech project

This morning I got my last few moments of cyber entertainment by reading about last night’s “Amazing Race” and trying to blog about the weekend box office.

I feel like the real test will begin as the week goes on and I struggle to fact check articles and find artwork without going online. It seems like an impossible task which means Erene will get some extra responsibilities this week.
