No Fast Food: Day Four

Rarely do I go to proper restaurants to eat, but this week was starting to get to me, so last night I went to Olive Garden, aside from that I feel like I haven’t eaten a good meal all week. My diet has consisted of cheese sandwiches, chips and oranges.

Last night I gorged myself after ordering the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. It was amazing! I ate way too much and I felt fantastic when I left.

The only problem with Olive Garden was I spent three times as much there as I would have at a fast food restaurant, so as good as it felt to eat all the food prepared by someone else that I wanted, it would have felt better if I’d spent just $4 rather than $12.

I’m sitting in my room at around 8 p.m. yesterday, when my Dad comes to my door and announces he has taco’s for me, thinking he’s winding me up I tell him to get lost, confused he starts to walk away, I go into the hall way and there he is with a Del Taco bag.

“Dad are you serious, you know I can’t eat that this week!” I said to him angrily. He laughed and tells me he ‘forgot’, likely story Dad!

I believe he was just being cruel, however after eating all those breadsticks little could tempt me into eating anymore that night! I sure would have liked to refrigerate those tacos and save them for later though.

I am starting to feel a bit of a difference, even after just a few days of no fast food, it seems like I can walk a little further, a little faster, before I start getting tired. I knew I wasn’t in the best shape, but I didn’t think that it would make such a difference by just cutting out fast food from my diet.
